John S. Lenihan, Principal Broker is the sole owner of Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty (LSIR), specializing in the high end segment of residential sales. Since becoming a residential agent more than 20 years ago, John has sold more than $400,000,000 in real estate. Specializing in off market and unique properties. John has consistently been ranked in the top 1% of all licensed agents in the Metro Louisville market. His agency is an extension of that success. LSIR has achieved the #1 ranking in homes sold above $500,000, highest average listing price and highest average sales price. LSIR has been Louisville's fastest growing agency since its inception in 2011. John is also the founder and managing partner of John Lenihan Properties (JLP). Begun in 1982, JLP develops and manages logistical warehouse properties around Louisville International Airport. Concurrent with management of JLP, Mr. Lenihan was President of Dixie Beer Distributors (1981 - 1987) Kentucky's largest beer wholesaler; Omni Air (1981-1985) Kentucky's largest PT135 Charter Service; TopTalent (1985-1989) temporary employment service and Harvest Leasing Corporation (1981-1987) equipment leasing. Mr. Lenihan graduated with a BA from Centre College in Danville, KY (1979); graduated from Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JPMorgan) and Commercial Lending School (1980). John married his wife, Elizabeth, in 1997. They have three young daughters and reside in Glenview.
